Charlotte Barkley, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Barkley grew up in the Berkshires and is absolutely thrilled to be returning home to begin her career. She is joined by her husband, Noah, and their two wonderful dogs. They have Gunnar, a loyal and intelligent Australian Shepherd mix, and Ava, a silly and sweet Basset Hound.
Dr. Barkley received her bachelor’s degree from Colorado State University and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University. During college, she worked as a veterinary assistant for a low-cost community clinic in Colorado. During veterinary school, Charlotte worked as a veterinary technician in a small animal general practice. Between high school and college, she even spent a year working as a wrangler on a guest ranch in Tuscon, AZ.
Dr. Barkley enjoys the variety of general practice and the opportunity to build long-term relationships with the clients and their pets. She has a special interest in cardiology, dermatology, dentistry, and behavior. In her free time, she enjoys baking, horseback riding, and spending time with her family.
