About the Role

The Shaker Hill Pet Resort is looking for a Resort Associate! We are in search of an experienced and positive professional who will treat our guests, and clients, with the highest quality of care. 

The position requires a flexible schedule with the ability to work 40 hours a week, Saturdays, some weekend rotations and some holidays.   

This position is responsible for:  

• Participating in the day to day operations of a busy, successful, pet resort  

• Providing exceptional customer service to our clients  

• Working hands on with both the dogs and cats and ensuring their care is top notch 

• Updating and maintaining a reservation database to ensure accuracy   

• Upholding the Core Values of the Pittsfield Veterinary Hospital and Shaker Hill Pet Resort  

Requirements:  

• Experience working with animals is preferred, but not required. The willingness to learn and the desire to provide compassionate and gentle care to all pets in our resort 

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
