Dr. Swinson joined us as Associate Veterinarian in February 2009. She is a 2000 graduate of Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts and a 1995 graduate in biology from New York University. Dr. Swinson has worked for several years at South Street Veterinary Hospital in Pittsfield, MA, the Pasquontank Animal Hospital in North Carolina and the Animal ER in Pittsfield. A Richmond, MA resident, Dr. Swinson lives with her husband Craig and their one year old son Cruz.
Other members of the Swinson family include: Holden, the 7 year old cattle dog cross, Forest, a 4 year old Sheltie, Sable, a 15 year old black dsh and Simba, the part-time Pomeranian. The coop currently has 13 free range laying hens.
The Swinsons enjoy gardening, hiking and kayaking.
