Dr. Pope was Born and raised in Southern Vermont on a small horse farm. Since she can remember, she always loved animals and aspired to be a Veterinarian. Dr. Pope ambitiously chased that dream. She attended New Hampshire University where she obtained her B.S. in Pre Veterinary Medicine. After graduation she continued her academic career at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her Clinical year at Cornell University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Pope graduated in May of 2014 when she joined Pittsfield Veterinary Hospital as a full time associate and moved to the Berkshires with her husband Spencer. She practice's general small animal medicine with a special interest in soft tissue and orthopedic surgery. Dr. Pope love's going to work and helping animals (and their people) feel better every day. Each and every day is unique as she continues to learn not only from various companion animals (of all species) but also from their owners. Other members of the family include Alexander, 3 month old son, Indy, a 5-year-old Black- mouth Cur, Sammy, a 4-year-old boxer mix, and Wyatt, an 11-year-old English Lop eared rabbit.
